RAVAS Data Manager

RAVAS Data Manager is a software interface between any ERP or WMS system and the RAVAS truck scales. RDM allows you to read a weight from a truck at any desired point in the operation.

How it works

Each truck requires a unique IP address for Wi-Fi communication. The IP address is programmed into the communication controller of the truck. For all communication to take place, this requires some time, of course. Your WMS system will request RDM. RDM will, in turn, communicate with the truck, wait for the reply and give the result back to the WMS.

RDM explained

Consider a warehouse where each order is selected based on individual orders using an RF terminal connected to the WMS. The Order Picker picks up products in a specific warehouse location. The weight of each product is known in the WMS. After confirmation that the products are picked, the RF terminal's weight is requested to the order pick truck, and the weight is compared to what is expected. If not correct, immediately, a different response can be sent to the RF terminal that the picker needs to add or remove products from the pallet.
