Technical Sales Representative, South-East Germany

About the function
What are you going to do?
The main task of this position consists of generating incoming orders through relationship management, acquiring new customers, recommending (new) products, and identifying and exploiting market opportunities. You will be responsible for sales results, margin optimisation and brand awareness in your region and customer group.
Ideally, you live near Munich/Regensburg and are willing to travel three to five days a week in your region to visit our customers, prospects and partners. Your region is south-east Germany, in particular Bavaria, but also partly beyond. You will be part of the German sales team together with four other colleagues and will also work closely with the German RAVAS service team, which consists of nine colleagues who are also on the road visiting customers in Germany.

This is your responsibility
Your tasks and responsibilities
- You will achieve your sales targets by acquiring and visiting (potential) customers, consisting of end customers and resellers.
- You will respond to market enquiries by identifying the (technical) requirements and needs of (potential) customers and offering tailor-made products based on your advice.
- You will negotiate prices and delivery terms with your (potential) customers.
- You maintain relationships with existing resellers and use all opportunities to strengthen cooperation in the interests of a win-win situation.
- You increase your sales with existing end customers by offering (new) applications and systems tailored to their needs.
- You accurately record and track customer information, relationships and offers in our CRM system.
- You identify market opportunities and developments and proactively pass on your findings to the internal organisation.
- You work with the marketing department and support them in coordinating planned sales and marketing activities.
- You will also work closely with the service department to increase sales of service calls and spare parts and to establish a market for complete replacement systems.
- You will make cold calls, schedule appointments for your offers, and ultimately negotiate them skilfully. Expanding the customer portfolio in your region is also part of your responsibilities.

About you
What can you offer?
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a sales role. Trained work ethic and sales-oriented mindset.
- You have a class B driving licence and are willing to travel extensively.
- As a sales genius, you are empathetic, have a high frustration tolerance and good time management skills.
- Native or fluent German (spoken and written) and fluent English (spoken and written).
- Experience working with a CRM system – preferably Exact Synergy – MS Sharepoint and, of course, all MS Office programmes.
