About the position

Your tasks

As QHSE Coordinator, you are the main point of contact for all matters relating to quality, health, safety and the environment. You ensure that processes run smoothly, that staff work safely and with awareness, and that any non-conformities are addressed quickly and effectively.

You oversee compliance with legislation, regulations, internal guidelines and certifications. You identify risks, advise management and initiate improvements. Thanks to your sharp eye and overview, RAVAS continues to operate safely, compliantly and efficiently. Of course, you are not on your own. On a daily basis, you work closely with our Operations Manager, Product Compliance Officer and various departments across RAVAS, amongst others.

Your to-do list includes:

  • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations relating to business operations;
  • Aligning product compliance with applicable product legislation;
  • Addressing deviations with colleagues and escalating significant risks;
  • Managing and optimising the QHSE Management System (QMS);
  • Monitoring complaints, damage and claims handling with a focus on corrective and preventive actions;
  • Recording and following up on incidents and accidents;
  • Managing, maintaining and safeguarding certifications such as ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and Ecovadis;
  • Preparing, conducting and reporting on internal audits;
  • Supporting external audits and ensuring everything is in order;
  • Contributing to improvement initiatives and continuous process optimisation.

About you

What will you bring?

You are analytical, proactive and results-oriented. You feel at home in a dynamic, international production environment and are able to maintain an overview whilst coordinating multiple projects.

You also bring the following:

  • Higher vocational education (HBO) level of working and thinking;
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar QHSE role;
  • Fluency in Dutch and English;
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Exact Synergy & Globe is an advantage;
  • An accurate, quality-oriented approach to work and an eye for detail;
  • A proactive, service-oriented attitude;
  • Stress-resistant, well-organised and a true team player.
