At its production site in Wiener Neustadt, every aircraft produced is weighed during and after assembly. In order to avoid logistic bottlenecks in their production line, Diamond Aircraft decided to purchase mobile scales: three RAVAS-2100L pallet trucks, one for each wheel in a plane’s landing gear….
The RAVAS pallet truck scales are fitted with a little platform between the forks that the plane can drive onto. And to create enough space, the forks are 1500mm long, and 690mm total width. That’s mobile weighing for you: weighing anything, anywhere!
