NATO gives saVar a stock number

The saVar has been given a NATO Stock Number. NATO uses this number for identification of a product.

Since 2002 the Dutch Royal Air Force bought 25 saVar 2100 pallet truck scales. These sales represented a RAVAS turnover of 50.000 euro. The pallet trucks are used for determining the weight of materials transported by airplane. By weighing the materials, overloading of transport planes and helicopters is avoided.  Also the information allows the proper distribution of weight over the airframe.
In the process the saVar has been given a NATO Stock Number. NATO uses this number for identification of a product. More important for us is the fact that with this stock number any Air Force in NATO countries can order the saVar. The NATO stock number of the saVar 2100 is: 3920-17-113-7414.
