BRB saves time and space by using twelve pallet truck scales for filling IBC containers, mixing lubricants and filling commercial packaging. And those pallet truck scales also come in handy when doing inventories in the warehouse.
Henkel (D) – Research and development of chemical products
In her R&D centre in Düsseldorf Henkel develops adhesives and detergents. For the hazardous substances book keeping, anything going in our out of the warehouse is weighed on the forks of the explosion proof forklift truck. That saves a lot of unnecessary handling.
Once every three months an inventory is made of the perfumes warehouse. Thanks to the weighing forks on the Linde forklift truck, the IBC containers only need to be lifted from the racking to know how much perfume they contain. When weighing a warehouse full of IBC’s, this saves them a full day’s work!
Lugato works with scales integrated in their Jungheinrich order picking trucks. On its display, the scale counts the number of articles picked. In this way the number of picking errors was minimised and client satisfaction was raised.
